Hello all,
After a little advice on an age old subject!
Have a 2008 Honda Civic diesel thats been filled with petrol and driven approx 500m.
Luckily the car was turned off before it cut out and now looking at what to do.
Realise there may be some damage but wonderd if anyone had any specifics of this car type to check/ do?
Looking to drain the fuel from the tank and fuel lines, replace the filter, fill with diesel and keep fingers crossed!
Is it worth putting some injector cleaner in with the new fuel (or any other additive for that matter)?
Any advice would be great
Cheers

take half the petrol out of the tank, fill it to the top with diesil and simply run it.
It should run slugish but will be ok.
